Why is this important?

Cigarette smoking is the leading cause of preventable disease and death in the United States today. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, tobacco use brings premature death to almost half a million Americans each year, and it contributes to profound disability and pain in many others. According to the World Health Organization, people who quit smoking greatly reduce their risk of lung cancer, COPD, heart disease, and stroke among many other diseases. One proven effective treatment for quitting is nicotine replacement product and medications this will help to reduce the nicotine cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
